I spent several years working for a provincial gambling authority in South Africa. The job involved going through licence applications, sitting in on audits, and working out whether operators were actually sticking to their conditions or just ticking boxes.

A page that was accurate six months ago isn't always accurate now. That's something most comparison sites don't bother with and it's the part of the job I think matters most.
I'm based near Pretoria. I follow rugby, spend time outdoors, and still keep one eye on what's happening at a regulatory level in South Africa because the landscape here is genuinely different from what you see in Europe or elsewhere.
